Tree Giants- Better Together. A Massive Embrace
At some point, you have to just accept that a track is massive, affecting, and immensely powerful to such a degree that you can't do anything but put the pretense aside and praise it.
"Better Together" forced me to put away my somewhat motif-heavy writing style and just embrace the fact that this synthpop hyper electro track by Tree Giants isn't just a simple little booster track. It's a stadium-wide speaker boosting, reaching into the atmosphere kind of song, and every single person is hugged by it.
Tree Giants – Better Together
“Better Together” – Tree Giants
Daniel Chrisman and Israel Lee have been working through the night for years in the studio with others, and when they’ve had the time they’ve managed to do their own thing as Tree Giants. Three albums and a few singles later and they’re back with, “Better Together,” the lead single off their upcoming EP slated for release this year.
Being that Tree Giants are no stranger to working wonders for others, you go in expecting the most when it comes to production value and they did not disappoint in that regard.
New Music: Tree Giants
Oklahoma City’s Daniel Chrisman and Israel Lee – collectively known as Tree Giants, are already an established studio outfit who have worked alongside hip hop and R&B artists seeking to add electronic and dream-pop vibes to their music.
Today marks the release of their new single, entitled ‘Better Together’. Anthemic in tone and empowering in its lyricism, the song showcases a bold and invigorating edge to the dream-pop genre. So if you’re a fan of HONNE, Postiljonen or Friendly Fires then Tree Giants may well be one of your new favourites.
Tree Giants Bring Unity In Trend With Their Dreamy Evocative Firestorm, Better Together.
The electronica duo Tree Giants, consisting of Oklahoma City’s Daniel Chrisman and Israel Lee, have released another compassionately synthy-sweet dream-pop hit, Better Together. As blissful as Beach House, as momentous as the euphonic hits left behind in Avicii’s wake, it’s a triumph in genre-defying euphoria.
The message of unity behind the spacey sonic elements may be simple but through the honeyed indie RnB vocal lines, reverb-swathed synths and oscillating basslines that surge through enrapturing the progressions, it’s as profound as anything Shakespeare had to say in his time.
Girls Girls Girls: Tedious & Brief, Maisie Peters, Alice Phoebe Lou, Bruise Violet — We Heart Music
23-year-old Jacobsen, aka Tedious & Brief, recently released “Not That Deep”. The song is a break-up song, which Jacobsen said, “My husband came to me with the opening lyrics of the song. He’s a studio drummer and every session he played that week was for songs touching on the subject of a person who broke the writer’s heart. He thought to himself, ‘What does it look like once you’re done grieving and you’re ready to move on? You’ll look back at your catalog of music and realize you’ve been writing about the same person and now you’re sick of giving them that attention, So that’s what we wrote about.”
